Can’t Sing Choir – Virtual choir from the Linskill Centre

Cruse Bereavement Care – Bereavement counselling service

Dreamshine – telephone befriending service with phone lines open between 10 am – 2 pm

Silverline – free confidential helpline providing information, friendship and advice to older people, open 24 hours a day

Active Northumberland – At home work-outs for all abilities and ages

CanniSalsa – Live salsa class via Facebook at 7.30 pm every Monday

Yoga with Adriene – yoga and mindfulness at no cost to inspire people of all ages, shapes and sizes.

Citylife Line – service from Newcastle City Council to provide services to the most vulnerable during COVID-19.

Good Neighbours – providing deliveries of food and medication for those with illness, disability or self-isolation relating to COVID-19

Grainger Market Delivery – Delivery of fresh goods including fruit and vegetables, baked goods, meat and fish. Limited daily availability.

Howdelicious – Meal delivery in the Howdon area for vulnerable or isolated people. £3 for an individual portion and £4 for a double portion, or three for £10

Newcastle West End Food Bank – currently open and accepting donations

NHS Eat Well – NHS information on a balanced diet

The Bay Foodbank – currently open (deliveries only) and accepting donations

The People’s Kitchen Newcastle – not currently open however receiving phone calls from those most in need

Tyneside Foodservice – trade supplier who have extended their services to the wider public for home deliveries.
